Privacy policy
Last updated 7 July 2026
This site, darkcontext.ai, is a short manifesto about Dark Context. It has no login and no tracking cookies. We count visits with cookieless, anonymous analytics (see section 07). The only place we collect a personal detail is the email form at the bottom of the page. This policy describes what happens to the address you leave there.
01Who is responsible
MethodKit is the data controller for the information collected through the form. For anything to do with your data, reach us at [email protected].
02What we collect
Only what you type and tick yourself:
- Your email address.
- Your choices in the form: that you consented to us storing the address, and whether you asked us to reach out so we can talk.
- The time of submission.
We do not store your IP address, your browser, or any other technical profile tied to the submission.
03Why, and on what legal basis
We use the address to send you occasional updates about Dark Context, to reply to you and start a conversation, and, if you ticked the second box, to reach out so we can talk. We do not sell it or pass it on to anyone else, and you can ask us to stop or remove you at any time (see section 06).
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time, see section 06.
04Where it goes, and who can see it
When you submit the form, the address is sent to us as an email through Resend, our email delivery provider, and lands in a MethodKit inbox. The website itself runs on Cloudflare. Both act as processors under their data processing terms. Data may be processed outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Within MethodKit, only the people who need to reply to you have access.
05How long we keep it
We keep the address until you ask us to remove it or withdraw your consent. If no conversation follows, we clear out old addresses periodically.
06Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, to object to the processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what was already done). Email [email protected] and we will sort it out.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY, at imy.se.
07Cookies and analytics
The site sets no tracking cookies. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to count visits: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from (the referring site and campaign tags in links), and what is clicked. The measurement runs without cookies and stores no identifier in your browser, so one visit cannot be tied to the next or to you as a person. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark mode choice (in localStorage), which is necessary for the feature you chose and is not used to follow you.
08Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
